1. Just wanted to share a tip out there with some of you that may not

    have come across this yet.

Both Internet Explorer and the latest versions of Mozilla (now called

"Firefox") allow for some image resizing when viewing *just* an image

(not within a page, but just by itself).

However, there is an extension for Mozilla Firefox that allows you to

zoom in or out of any image on a page. To install the extension, jut

go to Tools -> Options. Click on "Extensions" and then in blue "Get

New Extensions". Once the page loads, look for "ImageZoomer". Once

it installs, quit your browser and restart. Now you right click on

*any* image and select "Zoom In Image" or "Zoom Out Image".

I find this very handy when going through the "Rate Recent Photos"

section. Many new posters do not reduce the size of their image or

sometimes post a small image. Now in just a click on two I can get

the image down to a reasonable size (then I post a comment complaining

    about the size!).

Are there similar tools to other browers? I run UNIX, so I never

really touch IE, but I would think there is something similar. Opera

can probably do something similar as well.

  2. Well, being employed as a full-time UNIX & MySQL systems administrator, I can understand the feeling when multiple things suddenly fail. It is not a very pleasant feeling at all.

I guess I'll take the opportunity to go out and take some photos, rather than looking at the works that others have done. ;-)

  3. I realize that something major must have happened today, since PN was

    down for several hours.

I just wanted to post and ask if others are having problems with the

"Rate Recent Photos" section (after clicking on "Gallery").

The photo comes up and the form looks fine, but after I choose my

ratings, I get an error page:

    Server Error

The requested URL cannot be accessed due to a system error on this server.

    My rating does get applied.

Is anybody else having this problem? Is just this interface broken?

I'm using Firefox 0.8, but I tried IE and I get the same thing.
