    Mariuzs hi,

this is the image you mentioned, I suppose. Thanks for your comment.

You have a nice subject here. I like the colours and the saturation of the image, but I miss wide angle. This way you could emphasize the vastness of the ocean and place the fisherman into environment.

    Where was this image taken?

  1. A portrait of Nubian boatman near Aswan, Upper Egypt. The sun was

setting when we approached the pier with our boat. I had telelens

mounted on my camera, I was shooting fellucas on the Nile when I

noticed this fine man. He was obviously in charge of many boats as he

was giving orders to the other boatmen. I greeted him and he just

nodded his hed. Then I took the photo.

    Willy hi,

It doesn't bother me at all. I must say that your version looks great, the image is more balanced. Personally I don't like too much of photoshoping (maybe because I don't know it good enough) and I usually do only basic operations.

I tried to compose the rule of the thirds. The horizon, the shadow of

the big tree, the position of the big tree and one big tree versus

    three small ones.

A beautiful Herrero lady I met in Namibia. When I asked her if I could

take a photo I didn't notice the brooch in shape of Africa yet.
