well, thank you very much for your answers. My case is that my photos only get four to seven ratings with an average of higher or around six sometimes, and that in about ten minutes after the picture's posted. Then it just get lost in line when another 50 photos are submitted during this 10 minute interval. So they never are visible anywhere anymore and thus don't get an opportunity to get more ratings and make it to the Top Photos.

Hallo, for some time now when I contribute a picture for critique it gets a
couple of ratings but then it's never in the 'browse top photos' page. Photos
that a rated lower than mine are still there. Is it a bug of some sort or is
it that there's something else I don't understand.
