  1. Hi Ed!

If I understood right, you want to adapt a 8/500mm for 35 mm cameras to a Kiev 88 - right? I know that it is possible for the Mamiya/ Pentax 645. You can remove a part of the barrel and replace it by the adaptor. But I never heard of adapting this lens to a 6x6 camera. Is the image circle big enough? If so, for Zvrkendorfer the word impossible doesen't exist. He is able to adapt everything to everything.

  2. Hi Sheldon!

He wants to buy a Schneider Kreuznach Telexenar! First read then complain about the Kievs.

    Thorsten,

No problem adapting them. I use my CZJ 2.8/ 180 and 4/ 300 mm

lenses of the P-Six via M 42 to Minolta adaptor. The only fault is that you don't have an automatic aperture (keine Offenblendenmessung). I think the price for the Telexenotar is cheap - where do you buy it? But remenber the Xenotar is 4/ 150mm, not 2.8. Think about the MC carl zeiss jena 2.8/180 mm - you can get it for 250-350 DM.

  3. Hi all!

I want to use a kompendium on a 6x6 MF camera and

woud like to know your experience. My lenses have

a focal lenght between 50 and 300 mm and the

biggest thread is 86 mm. Has anyone a Ambico or

similar lens shade and knows if there are adaptors

as big as 86 mm? Do they show vignetting with 50

    mm lenses?

    Thanxs and best regards

    Markus

  4. I own also a Gosssen Luna Pro F (in germany Lunasix F). It is a fine intrument for continious and flash light. It has only one limitation. there is only a sync speed of 1/90 sec and no other. I buyed it used for 140 $.

    Best regards

    Markus
