  1. <p>I switched over from the D90 to the D700 (Actually, I use the D90 as a backup now) last year. I don't regret a minute of it. It is a fantastic camera. If Nikon were not coming out with a model upgrade this year, I'd say beyond a doubt, get the D700. But you might want to wait and see what Nikon will release.</p>

  3. <p>As Elliot said, it is your buffer filling up. Although you have a 32 gig card it in (and I am not sure the d90 is rated to use a 32 gig card) the buffer is quite small if shooting RAW or RAW + JPG HIGH.</p>

    <p>All sky shots should be done on manual.</p>
