Pentax k1000 with messed up lightmeter in Pentax Posted August 19, 2007 Hi, all, I have an Asahi Pentax k1000 which has an intermittantly working lightmeter. If it sets without being used for a day or two, the lightmeter will not work. If I put my flash unit on the hotshoe and take a picture, the meter will work until it sets for a while. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and have an idea how to fix it? I love the camera, and it takes great pictures, and I prefer using a manual only camers, but this is driving me nuts! Any help will be greatly appreciated. Skip
