I'm trying to shoot my brother's football games with my Canon XTi and have had horrible outcomes so far. I always

have great pictures using the Sports Mode during the daylight hours but this is the first time I've tried to use

it during a night game. So I'm sure that's part of my problem. I'm sure there are other basic things I'm doing

wrong too.

Any advice?

I do plan on purchasing a flash in the near future so any suggestions on that would be appreciated also! I

basically shoot my brother's sporting events and now our little 4 month old baby. So, sports and portrait are my

main usages.

Does anyone have a gallery of travel photos from Italy shot w/ the Canon XTi?

We're going in about 2 months and I just bought this camera. I'm looking for

inspiration and to see what lenses I should consider buying/renting for the trip.

Just wondering how the wide angle lens converters that you attach to the end of

a regular kit lens works. I'd be using it with my XTi.

First of all, I'm new to this site and still a rookie at all this digital stuff

so I apologize for my lack of knowledge!

I'm upgrading from my Rebel 2000 to the XTi. I have read many reviews that said

not get the kit lens with XTi. So now I'm trying to figure out what lens/es to

purchase. I'm working with a budget of about $600 and would like to get one that

is good for portraits, low light and one multi-purpose (sports, landscapes,

candids, zoom).

We're going to Italy (Florence) in about 2 months and can't wait to try out my

new purchases on the beautiful scenery! :)
