Excellent photo, the back lighting works oh-so-well!!! Bravo!

Great POV. Rust and peeling lead paint make a lovely subject. Can I send some shots over to you so you can work on them for me? love your work, peace.

Take a look and leave a critique, thanks.

Thank you Ramsey for your kind words, JDM- I love that chair, Chuck-thanks for the visual, I need to work on my lighting.

Excellent work, MJ, This is one of the few times I like B&W with selective color. Bravo!

Thank you, Juan.

Excellent choice for B&W! Crisp blacks and whites with an incredibly balanced grey scale in between. Very surreal, like a bizarre macro shot.

your critiques are appreciated

Great photo! I was going to agree with Kelly but as I was viewing this I could see many things in focus as you also noted too. I like this but it seems as if it is two shots because of the long expose allowing the aurora borealis to move more than the foreground. The lighthouse seems over-exposed a tad, as i viewed your other amazing images this one is the only one with a structure in it, the lighthouse is throwing something off. but over all a wonderful image. Congrats!

This was taken at the Coney Island Polar Bear Club's annual New Years Day swim.

Beautiful stark contrasts, I really like how the model is positioned in the frame, off to one side, that gives an excellent weighted balance to the whole composition.
-
Exceptional view, the framing with the lines works well, did you try a shot slightly askew? But the strong colors really does it for me.

Thanks for looking.

First attempt at serious multiple layers. comments welcome, thanks.

Thank you Doug, I'm learning how to use photoshop and this my first attempt at multiple layers.

I'm new to studio lighting, so any critique will be most welcome.

I happen to like the shoes in color. they enhance the triangular points she is creating in her pose. Very nice photo.

This is a photo from my first time in a studio. The photo is not cropped. Is the lighting good?
Thank you, in advance for your comments.
