Good prespective view.

It reminds me of a photo our a grove of poplar trees with leaves turning yellow from an old National Geographic from back in the late 60's or early 70's. A good friend of mine used it as the inspiration for an oil painting for the phtoto for an art class.

The aim of every Photographer should be to evoke Catharsis from the viewer and to me this does just that. I hadn't seen or thought about that photograph/painting/artist in many years until I saw this photo and the view from which it was taken.

It works for me on many levels, simplistic to complex. It is simply a tree, but it could be symbolic of so many other things. Upward looking at subject that we usually tend to see in profile.

Excellent composition. Beautiful colors! I lived on James Island for a couple of years back in high school and this brings back some wonderful memories of friends and events long lost.
