  1. I use a LowePro TopLoad Zoom All Weather (TLZ AW). It will hold my 503cw+winder+PME45+CFVback+lens up to 180mm. I have three photo backpacks and for day hiking and street shooting the TLZ has proved the most useful. The across shoulder strap positions the pack like a holster and I can easily un-zip and pull the Hassey out. That's the rig that I used in Zion and Bryce a few months ago, and used a mono-pod as a walking stick.
  2. If you want to get into M-F digital; it's hard to beat the 503cw anniversary edition. Camera+lens+CFV back for 10,995. One advantage of the 503 is that there are a lot of used lenses and peripherals available for a reasonable price.

  3. I got into MF about seven years ago but lost interest. The early learning phase was painful using film because of delayed feed back and lack of time. The Hassy sat in the closet for three years..and it was decision time..sell or go digital. I bought a CVF back for my 503cw and now the Nikons are sitting in the closet. I recently added an Epson 3800 which really added a new dimension.
  4. Sorry for another flash question, but...

Is anyone using the 503cw+CVF and sca390 and Metz flash? If so, which model Metz?

I am fairly new at this, so this question may be nonsense and if so what is the

best way to use flash with 503cw and CFV?

    Thanks; Steve
