I think I would have liked to see her more close up. Less of the ceiling. Close in on the interesting part of the photo, her face. IMHO. Good luck.

Would like to see it in color perhaps. Most of the time I see the older cars re-done they are in great colors that can add some real pizzaz. Still works for me in B&W. Good luck

I don't know if you tilted the horizon on purpose. I think I would like it better leveled. You may try photoshopping it to level. As it is now it just looks off balance to me. MHO. Good luck

The hot spot on the lower lip is a little distracting to me.

Ken,
This one is a little flat for me. It reminds me of too many pictures that I take. I thought I saw something there but I failed to capture it. Curse of the new photographer.
I can see where some of the colors and shapes drew your eye. Not sure what I would have done with this.
Not trying to be harsh, but I think we may both struggle with the same thing. Keep at it and good luck.

Just that, very beautiful.

Just messing around with some of the artistic editing in photoshop. That's all. Dive in and mess around with it. There is nothing to that stuff when you realize what is in there.

I suggest cropping it to take the object out of the bottom of the picture. It draws my eye from the rest of the composition where the real action is.
Very interesting shot.

How could I have done this better for framing my subject, light etc.
Suggestions and comments desired.

Very beautiful. The soft blues of the sky and the soft lighting against the white buildings really makes this a pretty scene

The pose is very clever, almost humorous. I like this a great deal. Did you try one with the model smiling? It would seem to be a very pleasant shot if she were.

Any suggestions on how to eliminate the distortion of the sun on
these types of shots?

As simple as it gets but so hard to get right. You did it.

So simple yet stunning. Mother nature offered you something spectacular and you got it. I love it.

L.,
Dome can be a tough place to shoot, not the best light at times.
I did not think this was the best shot of the bunch from the Dome, wondering why you chose this one as opposed to a couple of the others. Others were closer in, still showed motion, speed and expression. The action in the others were clear, a shot, a check etc. You obviously had a decent position on the side line and some good close up action on some of the shots.
I would offer, IMHO, that the shots where you are a little closer and the action is more defined worked a little better.
Did you try slowing down the shutter speed on some, maybe get some more feel of the speed?
Will be watching for more of your posts.
Keep at it.
