  1.  In my opinion it is one of the greatest nude I have seen. Not only is it a good exquisitely natural pose that does not rely on the model to put on an unnatural e facial expression, but it allows the genitalia to be seen in an equally natural manor neither hiding nor emphasizing it. Focus is not excessively sharp anywhere in the image. Sharp enough to make out individual hairs on the models head but soft enough to add to the natural feel of the image. Composition is amazingly complex in that ones eye is drawn equally to the models eye and face as well as to the lower third of the image. Very well done.

If you are patient enough eventually your subject will present you with an

Ideal opportunity. Such was the case with the night herons of Santa

    Barbra.

As I was setting up to photograph a great whit heron this rascal just

popped up out of a ditch beside the road. It was oblivious to me for about

two minutes then looked straight at me, turned and scampered back in to

    the ditch.

Taken at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens Washington DC in April. I had just

gotten set to shoot a great egret when the geese began spreading the

alarm. This rascal popped up out of a ditch and was very focused on a

scent. Being up wind of me he and me being already very still he did not

notice me until he was almost on top of me. What luck.
