Years ago, I came within 2 cameras of getting all the ones I was interested in...there were 35 of them...along came the burglars...I could never do it again.....

I believe the impossible project is concentrating on integral film packs for the SX70 and possibly Spectra.
Fuji is probably your only source for new "pack" film.

My guess is that you can make a "charger" out of an old wall wart power supply of 6 volts or more, then try recharging the battery until it gets warm, (a small amount of electrical knowledge is useful here..)then shoot the film promptly...that may temporarily solve the power problem, but the chemicals are probably going to be pretty crunchy if the film is old enough for the battery to fail.
I personally fear really old film, because the extra effort it requires to expel dried up film may be responsible for motor jams and bent picture claws...two common problems with the folding sx70's

Here is a way to do it; when you load your film, set the camera for a "sweet 16", point out the window on a sunny day, and adjust the ISO reading to the value that "reads right"...you will be good to go for at least that roll of film...

IF THIS HAPPENS ONLY AT SMALL F-STOPS, (F/22,F/16) AND AT ANY SHUTTER SPEED, IT IS PROBABLY NOT THE SHUTTER, BUT RATHER A SLOW IRIS IN THE LENS. THIS IS PROBABLY A LUBE ISSUE IN THE LENS...TRY ANOTHER LENS AND TRY SHOOTING AT F/2.8 OR SO ... IF THE EFFECT GOES AWAY, I WOULD BET ON THE LENS.
which polaroid instant camera is better, 450,360 OR 250? PLEASE HELP
