1.
I can also recommend the OM-3. It's a wonderful little camera. Solid built and really back to the basics, with the oppotunity to take advantage of a sophisticated lightmeter.
This is my OM-3 that I managed to get my hands on a few years ago.
2.
Hi,
@ Ingemar Lampa, film prices in sweden is probably a bit higher than you are used to. A good roll of neg. film is about 50 SEK. Developing and production scanning around 130-180 SEK. I suggest you stock up your favourite film before going to Sweden.
As of now I only have the 50 1.8, but I'm looking for a 24 and 85/100 mm.
3.
Hi,
Not really a question, more a statement...
Just bought an Olympus OM-3 and it is really a great camera. Lately my E-300 has been left at home. And I been using the OM-3 instead. Nowadays its also easy to have the film developed and highres scanned at the same time at a resonably price. The OM-3 doesn't seem to suffer from any problems with batterydrain, as many seem to suggest on the internet. So, here's my statement:
OM-3, what a great camera! Still going strong after 25 yrs.

  4. Hi.

Does anyone have any ideas how I could be able to use my laptop as "memorycard"

    to my Oly E-300?

I have tested the Studio software and I didn't like it. So thats no option.

Is there another application that can controll my E-300, or am I only limited

    to Olympus software?

(the slow USB1 connection is not a problem...)

  6. I'm very happy with mine. I have also used/owned Minolta III, Broncolor, Minolta IV, Gosen Variosix F2.

The Starlite is very COMPLETE. It got everything and still it's very easy to use.

Don't know anything about the Sekonic, but I guess that Starilte and S.608 are somewhat similar.

    Technicals? wel the Starlite got:

incident light metering with spherical diffuser,

incident light metering with flat diffuser,

    5 degree reflected light measuring,

    1 degree reflected light measuring,

    splashwaterproof housing,

    automatic backlit display,

    second ISO value,

measuring in accordance with the zone system,

    and a lot more.

I think the website is www.gossen-photo.de

  7. I think Billingham bags are similar to Fogg. And I got a Billingham 550 with 3 Superflex and a flap. I can easily fit my Hasselblad equipment in the bag. And still have room fore more... Eq: one house, one prism, two mags, 3 lenses with hoods, flash and meter.

Haven't actually seen a Fogg bag other than on the internet, and it looks like a Billingham. And I think B.bags are easier to find.

  8. I thought you said that you were going to use the K.I.S.S!

I am a little curious about the part where you mention that you could put the Hasselblad on the back of the Sinar p. What do you mean? I have both but I can't figure out how you are going to make them work together.

If you want to move around in a room, and take pictures in all kinds of directions, my suggestions are:

Use a room with daylight and blend existing light with diffused TTL flash as fill. And a 400ASA film.

    or

Bounce a powerful TTL flash at celing and use a diffused TTL flash as fill. (don't bee in a to large room, or in a room with a very high celing, or in a room with a colored celing.

    remember keep it simple!

  9. Hello.

I have a Sinar, and sometimes I use a Sinar/Copal shutter, which you place in between the front and the bellow. It has a lever at top where I can choose between different shutterspeeds. B, 1/60 - 8 sek. The problem is that the hole thing is quite a few years old, and the shutter speeds no longer are accurate. What should I do? I have some very nice lenses with no shutter built in them, so I need it sometimes.

One more feature is that I can adjust the aperature from this shutterpiece. But the levers at the lensplate that is supposed to forward the aperature-information to the lens moves a bit slow/hard and the hole thing kind of jams up. Probably there is a way of lubicate this, but how and with what.

Excuse my english, (I'm from Sweden), hopefully someone have some good advice for me.
