<p>A used Panasonic ZS3 or ZS5 would be the least expensive route. New camera , look at the Canon S95 , or the Panasonic ZS15 . Avoid small pocket cameras with excessively high MP sensors , unless you enjoy poor quality photos the sweet point is about 8-10 MP and shoot at a max ISO of 400</p>

<p>Can anyone recommend a resonable competent Nikon repair facility in USA. My AF Nikon 24mm f2.8 has a focus issue, when manually focusing the travel from infinity to closest distance is stiff and notchy, images are always out of focus...forget about trying to focus with AF. Also if anyone can direct me to an online tutorial on dissassembly of a Nikon prime lens<br>

Lumix ZS3: 25-300mm<br>
Canon SD950is: 36-130mm with small optical view finder<br>
Canon: S95,S100 S110 or S120<br>
Canon: Elph300HS 24-120mm very compact</p>
