I can't believe I missed it. I am so upset.

Hi guys,
I've been thinking about putting my photos on stamps. Especially photos I've
taken abroad, in Eastern Europe, Slovakia. They are mostly nature pics, and I
have to admit they do look stamp worthy ;)Has anyone used this site
(PictureItPostage.com) to create their own personalized stamps? Its not a bad
idea, especially since I want others to see my work. Has anyone done this, or am
I the first one to come up with this brilliant idea?

I cherish mine. And look at them ever now and then. Its just a nice reminder where you came from.

Yes, I think naturally we are drawn to the things that speak to us. So if we are sad we photograph melancholy moments, and when we are joyful we photograph happy smiling people. Photography is an excellent way to gage what you're feeling and how you're dealing with it.

I'd love to see more astrophotography.

Its like a whole new language. I know, I am trying to learn too.

These really speak to me. Thanks for posting.

What happened?

Love the pics! The hotel kiss is so awesome.

I know what you mean, all my days seem to blur together too.

What is that? It doesn't look like anything.

Well if this is a new fad, than I think my grandmother has it down... she has been cutting off our heads since forever :)

What happened to this park? It looks so creepy now.

Hi welcome!

I was born in Slovakia, but now I live in the US. My country is beautiful! If you like mountains and nature, then you should really visit. Not too many tourists at all. I was born near the High Tatras and every time I go back they take my breath away. I have taken so many pictures of them, but I feel like its never the perfect shot. Maybe this summer I'll finally get it.

I don't think you can. I would argue that even an amateur could take amazing pictures. I believe everyone is an artist, doesn't matter if it is their first pic or their two hundred's one. It is still art.
-
I don't think it is a tortured spirit inside the artist that makes the art come out, I think its the ability to relate to the object/subject one is painting or shooting. This translates to creativity, it is the artist's ability to sympathize with the surroundings and capture its essence.

Don't wear cologne on the days you shoot, and try to stay as dry as possible. If you sweat it attracts them more.

Hehe! Why are you so against Paris or Venice? I say the more pictures the better. Maybe someone will have a different perspective on the cities and their pictures will be totally unique. I'd hate to miss out on that.

I think constructive criticism is important. No need to sugar coat anything, no one wins if the truth isn't exposed. Its important to be truthful when critiquing no matter how the other person might react.

These pictures are great. The first one kind of looks like my dad..
-
You'll be fine! You we're hired for a reason, so just keep your confidence high and you'll do great!
-
I think all criticism should be taken with a grain of salt. Only take in the things you feel are truly important and know you should improve upon. The rest is usually bs.
-
I would suggest sticking to the US. Go to the nearest beach, and see if anything inspires you there.
