I tried cropping this image closer to the back wheel of the bike, but
it just made the image really crowded. Any other suggestions? Thanks, all!

Thanks for the thoughts! Whenever I up the contrast, I don't get the same effect of the edges as I do at this level. But I'll try again. It might work more if I leave it in color.

It's difficult to categorize this photo. It's not really street, but
it's not really travel either. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Yeah! Rock on! Thanks again. Here's a slightly lighter version.

thank you. I love that blur by the sortie, but I think I will try to crop it again and see if it works without. thanks for the feedback!

Thank you. I think you're right. There's something just not right about this photo and I've been trying to figure out what it is. It just seems so empty without the girl, though. I've done other "just shadow" photographs. I'll have to mess with it some more. I appreciate the critique!

I appreciate the thoughts. Yeah, I was a bit bothered by the lighting, but certainly something to build on. Thank you!

What do you think? Is this crop working?

thank you much.

any thoughts, words, criticisms are much appreciated.

what strikes me as so remarkable about this photograph is that it actually puts me at peace. when a picture can so strongly affect mood like that, I think one's really accomplished something.

I definitely see what you're saying about the rubber gloves. I wonder if there's any way I could fix this...thanks for the comment!

I really, really enjoy this photo. It's really wonderful to capture a child at play! I think you really managed the essence in this one.
You gave me advice some time ago about critiquing on others photos. I never really intended to be a photonet hermit-- I guess I just enjoy taking the pictures and have just been posting them for fun. I do really appreciate the response, but I haven't been as concerned with it as maybe I should be.
Thank you for the advice! Sorry it has taken me so long to respond!
