I would have taken away the crew ladder and closed the canopy, but
the jet was about to fly for that night's RED FLAG sortie at Nellis
AFB, NV. Most pictures of the F-117A show it with the canopy
closed, so this is a little different--like it really sits on the
ramp day in and out--not a fake, posed picture for the press.

Taken on a US military installation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Taken at Misawa Air Base, northern Japan, last August about 45
minutes before sunset. The airplane is a Japan Self-Defense Force
Mitsubishi F-1 fighter.
Exposure determined by a spot meter just to the left of the canopy
with a 70-210/4 lens zoomed out, E100VS film.
