This bridge is one of many covered bridges in upstate New York. In
2000 the County of Delaware (source of the Delaware river) had all the
covered bridges in the County rebuilt using the style and materials of
the originals with only small adjustments including increasing size of
structural members for more support. Nothing that couldn't have been
done originally around one hundred years ago. I passed this on my way
to school my first semester and had to capture it the next time i came
back home. I love Architecture especial old American, from a time
where function was paramount over form. These bridges were Important
to link together communities and the roof protected the bridges from
being degradation by the elements, important in Rural communities
where maintenance was a problem.

No one ever comments on my Photo Critique Requests So i am hoping
someone has something useful to add. Its easier for me to correct
color in the dark room but this is my digital attempt to make the
photos colors look more like what i saw the day i took it.

I like this image, despite it being taken with a digital camera.

Picture of the stream that runs along an old Iron forge in Tuxedo NY.
This spot was just a few yards up stream from where the old Iron oar
rail car tracks, that crossed the stream. This Stream is fed by
'Little Dam Lake'.

Are these doubble exposures or digitally enhanced? theres no information in the details tab.

Beautiful models make beautiful Pictures.

Beautifully composed. And the particular makeup scheme on the model worked superbly for this scene. I love the colors. The skin tone and then brick wall behind her. Can you tell me what equipment you used? film type? or if it was post processed in photo shop or some other program?

just wondering what country or state this beach was at, and how old are these photos
-
this model is beautiful, i love this series
-
i loved this one and the overlay was perfict
-
nice , much improved over the one that had the overlay
-
i like the composition and the sceen of photograph. And the model is terrific but unlike most i think the overlay is much more than a little distracting. To me it takes away almost half the quality of what i think would otherwise be a great picture. Also i wish you would have put more in the decription of what you did to the picture, i meanbesides the obvious overlaying.

i love this pic, and so does my mom who was looking over my sholder just now. she was born and raised in italy and was wondering where this photo was taken. I was wondering that also .. as well as what lens did you use to take it and were you waiting for this moment or just had your finger on the trigger taking 30 pictures at 3 frames a second and this was one of the immages? Yea you had only the camera type information in the details.
-
i was looking at the details because i loved the effect around the edges and thought you used some type of large format or medium sheet film but you had written there that you used a Nikon Coolpix 5700 and you said NO to any manipulations. so how did you get that look on the photograph using a digital camera and not any manipulations. Did you shoot that photo through a dirty piece of glass? or did you just forget to fill all that in correctly. But i do like this picture, could have used a shallower DOF tho.

My mother hates this one alot, and all the photos of her i take. She
says i alwyas show all her wrinkles and make her look so old, and that
when my sister taks her picture she doesnt look as wrinkly or as bad.
My sister uses a nikon D40 and just leaves it in auto mode always with
the flash on.

I'M JUST CURIOUS WHAT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT MY WORK. IF ANYONE HAS ANY
ADVICE OR HINTS. I'M NOT A PROFESSIONAL NOR A PHOTO MAJOR IN COLLEGE.
I JUST LOVE CAMERAS AND TAKING PICTURES AND TRYING TO IMPROVE MY
SKILLS. MY EX-GIRLFRIEND WHO'S A PHOTO MAJOR, ALWAYS TOLD ME THAT I AM
NOT VERY GOOD AND ITS SURPRISING TO HER THAT I BEEN INTO PHOTOGRAPHY
SINCE 7TH GRADE, BECAUSE SHE IS SO MUCH BETTER AND ONLY BEEN TAKING
PICTURES FOR 4 YEARS.

I really like this shot. Love the contrast. Very peaceful and surreal looking too.
Was a camera converted to IR used ?
