Hi you can go ahead and do your DVDs for slideshow, if you get a recently DVD burner
you can do -R and +R plus dual layer... if the DVD is going to be played on a standalone
player thats is somewaht outdated use -R, if the DVD player is a couple of years (2 or 3)
then you can use either format...
I just removed the Lacie Lightscribe 16x from my mac because it continully made bad
burn, it froze a lot when played, so I order a Pioneer DVD Burner and its a newer model
from the one originally installed from Apple.
So now I know the problem is not Lacies but the drivers itself, so there is a patch for
correcting this in osX Tiger, Panther I heard it has not problems like this anymore.
hope this helps.

it comes down to what software you have invested in?
but, besides that guess you should go mac...
-
I second the idea about Pixelmator, a little PS that promises and gives...
like Illustrator but can't afford it, the try vector designer..
these are for osX...
and can get them in bundle with some 13 more apps at: https://www.macheist.com/buy/invite/97738
-
sometimes I spend some time with the gaussian blur, but then I tried pixelmator and it was realtime on
osX.. so you guys give it a try, you can even buy it at a reduced price and help some charities...
here is the link: https://www.macheist.com/buy/invite/97738
and also you get a bundle of 14 apps...
so far I'm very happy with pixelmator, snapz and istopmotion...
the others apps I'm just trying them too
-
if your on windows an alternative to photoshop besides elements could be paint shop pro..
if your on mac, could try pixelmator...
can buy it with some more apps at a reduced price on https://www.macheist.com/buy/invite/97738

some weddings in México, too.
there are a lot of good places here..
so if you don't think its a good idea to do this job, tell her you got a friend in Mexico.
here's a link to one of my wedding of 2007.

I think the font used in your name the big ones are not read good enough, and if you use a
better font you could get a fast read on your name too.

my last two albums were metallic...
-
those look neat..

I basically do a lot of shooting in Manual Mode...
but from time to time shoot some in AV, TV, and P just some times.
so yes, most of my wedding shooting gets done in manual mode...
-
I believe your happier with the $500 weddings...
stick to it, in the end it all matters your having more fun this way, and probably much more
time...
I have to say that I just haven't done a $5000 wedding, but odds are I done countless by
$500....
-
if your down with picture styles you better shoot in RAW...
that way if the image dont work in one style you can work with it later...
-
-

it's not a replacement..
it's just another tool or toy...
