This photo is my tribute to one of Portugal's finest Monarch's,

whose assassination was a horrific crime, and whose memory,

unfortunately remains quite in the shadows, just as in the picture.

Nice photo, how did you managed to get there?

In my opinion i suggest that you crop a bit of the lower part of the photo, just to make the viewer look up, where it is more sharp.

I'm not a pro, and i know that you had to place the camera on the railing which is almost impossible to keep in focus,but i don't like the blurry railing distracting my attention.

Nice work though.

Because i'm not afraid of these little creatures, i managed to get

as close as my camera allowed to take this photo, and i have to say

that luck (and light) were on my side.

You got two monuments in one picture!! The only thing i critique is the wind... could be a little stronger! lol.

Nevertheless, a very nice photo.

This was one of my first night pictures with my old coolpix 4500,

please feel free to say what you think.

My old coolpix 4500 still had one of the best macro abilities that

i've seen (in that line of cameras).

Hope to re-shoot this when i buy a macro lens for my D80. Comments

When i looked at this photo from the main gallery it took my attention because of its shape, so i asked myself if it was purely a digital image, now that i know how you did it, it's simply amazing. Buen trabajo !
