    what?

I see you are outside and photographed this with the Nikon D7000, very nice expression in the little girl. Just a couple of quick things I see that could be improved. First of all the Black and White photograph is a little flat, A little bit more contrast would make this an ideal photograph. You may not have needed to use the flash at all. Fill flash is always good in some cases and natural lighting can really make a big difference in the mood of the Black and white digital photograph. Always focus on the eyes when photographing people as long as those eyes are in sharp focus the photograph will look perfect every time.

In the old black and white days, of silent films people wore green makeup on their faces so they wouldn't look so pale in the films, or near dead in them. With digital photography you can either set the camera up to shoot in B&W (Which all digital cameras see in color) you could add a green filter to the lens or later in post processing add a green filter in your photo software for black and white processing to help with the look in people and make them look healthy.

All around the photograph looks good, I would cut the flash out, which will keep the shadow around the chin and her left arm from where her dress is casting a shadow on her left arm. Try and add a little more contrast in post processing and keep the eyes in super sharp focus.

I know this bridge well! They have been doing some work around the bridge and created a new water flow area. This photograph is bright and very colorful just as I remember it when I visit it on a new spring day. Fabulous shot!

A beautiful sight indeed. It looks brand new. Maybe the person in Iceland is a collector. He or she definitely picked a nice car to collect. The photographs looks like a modern day black and white photograph from the 40's, Nice job on this capture!
  1. Kodak Ektar Professional ISO 100 C-41 Color Negative 120 ~ 70mm Film.
    September 2011
Camera Used: Vintage Kodak Duaflex III
Development: Hand Tank Jobo C-41 Press Kit.
Developer: 90 Degrees Fahrenheit 10 Rotations every 30 Seconds for 8 minutes.
Blix: 90 Degrees Fahrenheit 10 Rotations every 30 Seconds for 8 minutes.
Wash: 3 Minutes continuous water flow through hand tank.
Stabilizer: Room temperature for 1 minute 10 rotations at 30 seconds.
The Duaflex III is a fixed focus lens I just took this for the heck of it to test out the camera. As you can see, it is very easy to develop C-41 at home. The photograph is right from the Canon 8800F scanner with no color correction or touch up. I refurbished this camera myself.

  3. I like this photograph because you can make a real nice High Dynamic Range photograph out of it. Here is an example I did for you of this photograph. Kind of cool.! Rated this a 6 because it has so much potential.http://gallery.photo.net/photo/15916052-lg.jpg
