    Dear Samuli, thanks for your comment. I suppose looking at the picture makes you feel lost because of the lack of reference points in the horizon? If you look at my portfolio I did an earlier shot of this boat and processed it with HDR. The background was distracting at that picture. This time I added contrast so the foggy background faded away. Maybe too much? Thanks again.

    instead of the 3/4 rating this photo has gotten, I think it's an unusual composition and I like the toning. Maybe a bit more of the reflection of the white clouds in the water would have made it even more appealing.

    Engin, thanx, however, the sky was very, very grey that day so that would not have contributed to the picture I think. I also like the patched street so tilting it down was a viable option here. Anyway thanks again!
