    Drying out

          1

This beautiful butterfly had just dropped from it's cacoon.

    perfect in every way.

It stayed still for a couple of hours just stretching and drying it's

    wings.

    Then it was gone forever.

In the beak of a bird.

    Your opinions Please

  1. Hi

Now this is what I would call a brilliant photo that could be used by publishers.

There's not many photographers that can produce work of this quality.

Has it been cropped much because this photo could sell well for you if big enough.

It's bright with great contrast and exposure.

Well done you have a really good eye for a photo.

    Hi

I do like what Steve has done to you photo (if completed properly) like mentioned.

When looking at original you are drawn to blur behind the head.

If this photo was cleaned properly and centered properly it would make a striking photo.

I know it was a one chance shot and you were very lucky.

    lighting and exposure are good.

    Well done

    Thanks Dale

This was another shot taken with my nikon 5700.

It was taken at a wildlife sanctuary in spain.

The light was great on the bird but the background was full of big light stopping tree's.

    Hi

    Thanks for your comments

This photo was taken with my nikon 5700 about 5 years ago.

The day started out very dull so I just took my camera with no filters.

Typically as soon as I started shooting the weather changed and became very bright with humidity at about 90%. My camera really had problems with exposure as you can see.

This was a lesson for all to learn. Don't forget to take the little extra's as you never know when they will be needed.

luckly it hasn't ruined the shot.

    Regards Andy

    Thanks Jan

I have been photographing insects and wildlife for many years now.

I like to keep photo's just like you see them with the eye and don't beleave in manipulating.

This is the way I beleave photo's should be taken.

But everyone is different and It is nice to see photo's that have special effects Which can be a work of art, There are many good artistic photo's on here but I don't think I am qualified to comment as I beleave in real life.

    Regards Andy
