<p>I develop my nikon raws with Ufraw and Gimp and keep all the processing data together with the original raw so I can get many times the same result, but all the work for mailing, for this PN, for all my presentations are made with jpg 100 % quality or the same 0 % compress. I have made many test and it is imposible to see any diferences from tif to jpg if jpg is save with 100 % quality but the file size es some 125 times smaller. Regards.</p>

<p>Hi Andrew!<br>
I discovered about a nice paragraph spacing if you press return a couple of times, this is made in that way.<br>
You can do it also using html and puting html code at begining and end of each paragraph.<br>
Best regards.</p>

Typing error.
It is ok although I would prefer them...
Cheers!

Hi Josh!
It is ok aldo I would prefer them outside the visual field of the shot.
It was just a suggestion to have them in a clear position but not interfering with the shots.
Best regards.

Dear Sirs.
I remember to have read about those arrows for going next or previous shot, they are a little inconvenience standing
beside our shots. I suggest a new place at left and right of white rectangle where is the shot caption. I will try to link
a picture.

Michael, Josh
I only tried to present a posible bug so little by little we can improve PN.
Now that I know that photos in a hidden folder will be shown in the Community Member page I will do my tests and
will delete them after.
Best regards.

Hi Michael!
"The folders are hidden, but the images are not" that is what I told before.
About "secret" it was only a way of telling, I know the right word is hidden.
If we have that useful hidden folders they should be useful to test or any other utility.
What I am not agreed is about that some recent upload photos in a hidden folder are shown in the Community Member page. It is a nonsense and I sugested that they must not be shown as the last uploads.
I use my hidden folder only to test diferent styles of presentations.

Hi Matt!
I use Opera, now I have open Firefox and go to: http://www.photo.net/photodb/user?user_id=2478390 not signed.
You will see my three last uploaded shots, the two at the right with bw background are in my private folder which you
can not see without signing, but those two shots are open in my Community Member and every body can see them.
The two shot that should not be shown because they are in my private folder are: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?
photo_id=7700573 and http://www.photo.net/photo/7700536
In this case it is not important because they are only background tests, but someone could have some special shot
that should not be seen in public.
Best regards.

Hi Josh!
I made a hidden folder to experiment with different presentation styles and I was surprised that those photos are
shown in my Community Member page.
I supposed that photos in a hidden/secret folder never should be shown to public.
Please, try to make something about.
Best regards. Jose.

Hi Andrew!
It is used just as a lens protection, but think about that it keep a littles less flare in the optical path of the lens.

Hi Claudia!
We can submit for critique only 4 photos per day, so you have to wait 24 hours from the 1st to post the 5th. You can read some text about that when you try to post the 5th before the 24 hours.
Best regards.

I am agreed with Zeph, we are paying customers.
Usually these ad's are displaying for non paying customers but when we pay our pages should be free of this annoying ad's.

Give a try to UFRAW, it can decode D300 raws and it really do a nice work. http://ufraw.sourceforge.net/

Take care about the water you use to wash your microfiber cloths, if you use tap water it can contain a lot of dissolved minerals and when water dries you will have small cristals in your microfiber cloth that can scratch the lens surface.
It shall be better to wash them with destiled water or at least use destiled water for the last wash.

Hi there!
I am trying to upload some new shots I have but after I upload the first one
when I try to upload the next it seems to go ok but instead of going to "Return
to your Portfolio" the page return to http://www.photo.net/photodb/index.tcl
After some time trying to upload I can upload it sometimes.
Have you put a minimun time between uploads?
Regards.

This Community > Forums > Photo.net Site Help not working with Opera 9.64
in PhotoNet Site Help
Posted
<p>Hi Josh.<br>
Testing about my last post, "unable to upload new shots", I found that this forum Community > Forums > Photo.net Site Help > do not work with Opera 9.64, I mean that links doesn't work. Once the browser is in: http://www.photo.net/site-help-forum/00SfkD the breadcrumb links and the "botom Submit" does not work at all. Opera is one of the few browsers that is full 100% compliant with HTML standars in http://www.w3.org/<br>
Now I am posting this one with Mozilla Firefox. Regards.</p>
