  1. I am considering buying a second hand 645 and was waondering if anyone can

point out the major difference and advantages of the 645 pro and 645 super and

any major accessories I should be looking at to purchase.

    Thanks

  2. I have been using a ProS and ProS film back and have recently purchased a

second hand ProSD with ProSD film back. This maybe a stupid question but

anyway, does the ProSD film back use the same approach to light seals as the

earlier models ? When I look at the ProSD back there is no foam in the

channels nor is there any evidence of there very being any in there ??

I was going to imsert some foam like I have done previously with the ProS back

but thought it was an interesting question to ask.

    Regards

    Andrew.

  3. Can anybody please recommend a good lab to get some 120 colour transparencies

printed in Melbourne. I have tried one "lab" who scanned them and then

printed and they turned out all blurry, after a "discussion" I received a

full refund but don't want to go down that path again. I am after an 8x10

size print. Do any labs still use a wet lab for this work or do they all scan

    now ?

    Thanks in advance

    Andrew

  4. Hopefully a simple question, what is the minimum dpi that I need to use on a scanner to acheive a quality

    8x10 print from a 120 velvia 100 transparency ?

Secondly can anyone point me to an example scan from an Epson v700 or 4990 of a 120 6x7 transparency

    on the web ?

    Thanks

    Andrew

  5. Hello all. I am new to the world of Mamiya RB67s and have found this forum to be invaluable in my steep

learning curve so far. 1 question which I haven't been able find an answer to is "How do you tell the

difference (visually) between the pre-C, C and K/L lenses for the RB67 range ?" Obviously the C lens have

a C after the word Sekor on the front but the other two ?

Can anyone also recommend a good flatbed scanner that I can use to scan negs or transparencies of 6x7

that won't cost the earth and will work on a Mac ?

    Thanks Andrew.
