Beautiful composition.

The lighting and colors really set a mood.

There is a very beautiful wash of blues and whites in this photo that is very cool and soothing. I love the piece of architecture you decided to use here, its cylindrical shape really lends itself to the overall mood of the picture.

Another wonderfully simple aspect of this photo is the way you only captured a few textures. The very smooth to rippling shore, the harsh concrete architecture, the heavily textured ocean, the layered feel of clouds, then the "smoothed-out" sky.. and that's all.

Wonderful composition, I really appreciate your positioning in reference to the pier. The lighting also contributes to such a great photograph, good timing!

The second light provides a beautiful, yet subtle, secondary focal point as the eye follows the pier to the beautiful horizon.
