1.
At my old darkroom, we did a pre-wet before developer - I always did a good 3 minutes, constant agitation. After that - before stop bath, it was "fill tank-pour out water" 4times. Then again before fixer. I'm surprised to learn that "this" was all wrong, in fact maybe harmful. We all give a good 5-10 minute rinse after hypo clear, but what's the reason/truth behind all this other watering?

 2.
I was looking at all the great photos done with Pan F Plus in one of the Pan F Plus "Groups" or was I? I think "great, more Ideas/places/conditions I could shoot using PanF+", but the a description reads " sony digital...blah...blah...exposure time...135lens..."
What's going on here?

 3. It's the damnest thing -the specs/spec formations are virtually the same for each scene, 3-4 bracketed exposures, then they appear again in a different pattern but all the same for the next scene, all 3-4 brackets. Am I making sense? If so, does IT make sense? 4 Rolls ALL developed in the same canister, only 1 roll this happens to....? Straining my eyes through the loupe to make sure they're not actually part of the scene - no I'm pretty sure not.
 4.
Just developed 4 rolls of Pan F Plus in the same tank and although they all came out well, one roll shows what appears to be tiny black flakes on (in?) many of the frames - even though those vary frames, minus the flakes, came out well. The flakes blot out a small part of the scene. Some are somewhat clumped together and others dispersed but nearby. Did something happen in terms of the real - did the film stick together at certain points - was agitation inadequate?

 5.
'Shot at or near 90 degrees to sun with good polarizer, you got deep blue skies, but green foliage was like - wow! Unique pastel-like green unlike any of the other E-6 films.

 6.
'Just cleaning out old trunk containing a thousand or so slides and looking at 10 year old RSX slides makes me sad. The color tones/balence were really unique and wish I'd shot more, sharp accurate tones yet somehow high sat. at the same time - if that makes sense. This film never got credit it should have.

 7.
"The art world doesn't reward manual labor...." Exactly Lex, and therein lies the problem, not just the "art" world, but the world in general. Does the FILM world care?

 8.
Yep, here we go again with the same tired 'ole sing-song - " it's really not the medium... it's the vision.. blahblah..." Sorry but I do believe printing in a darkroom is an art and requires work, and, should be recognized/rewarded as such. I'm still waiting to hear from Ilford....

 9.
Us film shooters are lumped together with digital when applying (competing?) for grants in "photography". Does anyone know of any foundations-arts organizations-schools-etc. that give grants/interested in material from film?
