  1. I got an Olympus to Nikon adapter, and then got a 300mm

zoom from a local pawn shop. Spent around $200.00 total.

Then you can get a Nikon doubler for about $80.00.

So in effect I'm using a 600mm lense. You have to

adjust the metering for light. But it works.

  2. Kevin,

I got my adapter and went to the Camera store, and they

couldn't find a lense that will fit. The adapter says:

    Fotodiox C/Y-OM (3/4) not 4/3, is that a problem?

It fits onto the Olympus alright, but what kind of

    lense will work with it?

  3. Thanks,, and do you have a link for B&H?

I've reviewed the Zuiko lenses that are linked to the Olympus website and they're pretty much out of my price range at $5000.00 +

My car doesn't cost that much. My wife's car, yes. ;-)

Sometimes I think I made a mistake buying Olympus. But at $719.00

at Sam's Club, that's all I could afford.

I have a Tasco telephoto lens I can mount on my old Canon AE-1 but I also like digitals, and knowing if I got a good shot or not, on the spot. So I'm trying to gear up digital.

    Thanks,

    Ron

  4. I'm using an E-Volt 500 and it came with two

    lenses. The zoom being 40 - 150mm.

I'd like to step up in the zoom category, but

I'm having trouble finding a camera shop that

will carry one. Or which lense to use. Something

    reasonable. Any recommendations?

    I'm looking for something aroun the 80 - 300mm.

    Thanks,

    Ron
