For me this photo depicts hints of time/season changes.  it might seem to an eye that it was methodically desaturated, but i think not.  there was a storm... it's the morning after and its balmy, hence the fog and what Evgeni has captured here is the last hint of what was once winter.  the dark before the dawn of spring even with the hints/remnants of the last growing season still visible.

    Nice time capture.

  1. A difficult shot to capture... Saad was in the right place at the right time for this and no doubt it speaks to the direction that multi-cultural places are heading. I consider it an "I could not've imaged getting a shot like that shot" and so my cudos to Saad for its uniqueness and you have to give him points for timing/patience on the composition of it. Even the background is reasonable for the subjects in the frame but the expressions of the native women are the highlight of this photo. Obviously there are other chances to get similar photos because they are going and coming from a local pool/lake based on the wetness of the native womens clothing and the swimwear of the western cultured woman but their expressions/look aways are of the "priceless" genre.

The way the light defines her silhouette made me want to see more into the shadows... where the light barely was. She was 'almost peeking' out through the panel but really... looking. A very unique setting, and subject... nicely composed.

I like the image but I can't put my finger on what it reminds me of... a characture perhaps of an aspiration for an inhabitant.  No lighthouse in the photo but beach... its creative but not representative of the name it bears.

I thought that photo looked upside down and I like your notion to flip it to gain the perspective, and interest, that you have. A larger image would have caused me to examine the reflections more closely before making comment but I still like the unusual-ness that my minds eye saw when I looked at it. Don't you love that G9?! Nice!
