This is a very smart picture, I like very much the unusual composition and the sense of movement it provokes. I would prefer to have a bit more warmth in the colour tones, since I find these slightly too metal-tinged.

    Cheers Marco

  1. Stephen, thanks for stopping by and commenting. Actually I did want to empasize the smallnes of the people compared to the storm gathering. It sorts  of fascinates me to portray landscapes where human presence is just a minor, yet vital, detail. IF I did miss the point I'm sorry. I promies I'll try harder for better compositions

    Thanks again

    Marco

  2. I reckon there is a much better image hidden here. Just get rid of this cheesy HDR, maybe turn it to b/w, tune in the contrast and there you have a realistic, breathtaking scottish landscape. this is a smart digital drawing, impressive to the eye but closer to fractals than to photography. cheers Marco

  3. Bob, gathering attention is the best a picture can do, isn'it? I did nont have anything specific in mind while shooting it, except recording the decay of industrial sites in our towns. Marco

what a smart picture this is. I really appreciate how you managed the uneven lighting of the scene. my only suggestion is to try to cut out a bit of the empty space on the left and the lower part of the image. warmly, marco
