1.
George your photos are untagged on the web, in other words they don't have a colour profile. You do not have to assign a profile when you save for the web. Whatever profile is tagged on to your picture it will be untagged if you go to file and save for the webb. Does that help? You don't have to assign a profile for printing either, unless you are doing the printing. The commercial photo finisher would assign his own col. space profile.

 2. Kasey, I think colour profiles and colour spaces are all very confusing. If you have photoshop is really very simple. After you resize your image click on file and in there you will see a dialog heading called save for web. click on that and check the following boxes: JPG, optimised, maximum quality. Save. I save these in a special file that you can name whatever you like. Your original will still be displayed in PS and you can delete it. You will find that whatever profile you import in save for web the saved JPG has none! It becomes an untagged RGB. The problem lies with the fact that your uploaded file above has a profile. I hope that you find this information useful.
 3. I would agree that the advice given to you is very good. John Crosley has given us all, actually, words of wisdom and common sense. Look and comment, when you have the time, on other people s work. Photography is mainly about communication not a one way street. From what I can see in your portofolio you have some very individualistic material which I like very much. I am sure that others would too. Use the advice given to you and they will find you.
