  1. Hi Rachel, I was there from the beginning of April to mid May and thhaweather was not a problem. Here's a photo from Ghandruk on the Annapurna trail. Spend as long as you can, it will all go too quickly. Also, for general weather patterns I use this site when I'm planning a trip. For more photos you can check out my website.

  2. Actually I didn't find it to be much of a problem. As I avoid photographing people in bright contrasty sunlight, the softer light of an overcast day or shade lessens the problem. I have a few of the photos of Vietnamese people wearing hats on in this gallery.

  3. On my trip to Cuba I had no problem bringing in my full kit including laptop. Some nights I'd be out until dawn walking around and had no problems. One of my favorite destinations and photographing in schools is something that I do in every country including Cuba. While there with a friend of mine he did a webcast about the experience.
