Rob, - yup for set stills. Mostly I shoot during camera rehearsal, I do have a blimp but it is a
real pain. I'm open on specs, at least 8mp and good for low light.

Ok.... I'm guessing the digicams term, like a Fujifilm FinePix IS-1

Hi,
Looking for some expert advice. I thinking to buying a 80 - 200.
Right now the Nikon 80-200/2.8 ED AFD looks pretty good. I'm
also looking at the Sigma 70-200 F2.8 AF-IF HSM. I know the
Sigma is cheaper, but will the HSM be faster than the Nikon?
Any help is highly welcomed. Thanks!

the PARTS HOLD HELL. Urg! I been calling every day for the last week. I'm
becoming a huge pain the ass.

Hello,
I've had my D70 for about 3 months now with no problems.
However yesterday I switched lens to my 60mm and got a
strange error. Here are the details
1. On the Top LCD displayed err -no shutter speed or other info.
2. The camera would auto focus fine but would not fire. This was
in any mode.
3. If I hit the shutter again it would fire, but more like a wierd
clicking type.
4. No image is written to the card or shows up in the LCD
5. DOF preview button will not work.
6. Mirror lock was grey-out in the menu
Now the strange stuff, I put the kit lens back on and I still
experenced the problem, I tried several lens and still have the
problem, So I reset the camera, checked for dirty lens contacts ,
pulled the battery, ETC. No luck... still would not fire.
This morning I tryed it again and it worked fine... no problems.
Stuck Shutter? Any Ideas before I send it back? Thanks in
advance

Hello,
I'm using an 10 gig Ipod with a Belikn Media Reader. All battery
powered and small. The only drawback is that I have to transfer
the Cf card to the ipod. No direct cable. The reader reads all
types of memory cards and was about 100 bucks,
Thanks!

Hello,
Over the past 2 years I've been shooting landscapes and ruins
with my trusty n90. I'm planing to upgrade, but I'm stuck on the
choice. Basically I'm looking at getting a Nikon D70 or a Mamiya
654E. I'll keep my n90 still. I'm sure this question has been
asked. Can anybody steer me in the right direction? Thanks in
advance.
Quite EVF Shutter
in Mirrorless Digital Cameras

Rob,
My last gig was mostly outside, so I was using my 70-200, mostly. New new shoot is mostly
indoors so wide would be good. The really important factor is a super quiet camera.
