wow thanks everyone, and if you wonder why i just don't ask him its because he wouldn't tell me and i work with him because he left to work for 944 magizine.

But thank you to everyone so much. For all of your advice

I was wondering how this photo was taken. I work with the photographer, but

he's an asshole and i actually am replacing him b/c i do studio work as well. I

know he uses a canon 20d, flash is 580ex with a gary fong diffuser. His lenses

range but usaully 17-50 with a f/2.8 range or a fish eye.

I was wondering on how he gets the flash to give off such a soft tone on the

subjects. But, he also makes the background so bright giving off such a full

feeling to the picture.

Also i was wondering for anyone who is in this business, if you had any tips:

camera setting, ect.?

Does anyone do anything to there flash i was wondering if that would give the pictures more of a soft light?

My pictures are coming out ok, but i would still like a little softer light on the subject and a little more light in the background.

Hey everyone I was wondering if there is any way to make a double exposure

through the camera on a canon 30d. I know that you can on the elan 7e because I

was able to do it on my old camera, but with the 30d i can't find out how to do

it anywhere and i would rather not just do it in photoshop.

I was wondering if anyone uses filters when they shoot at the nightclubs. I was

thinking of a polerizer filter, maybe. And, what do you guys set your

speedlight at when you shoot nightclubs. Do you do manual or just auto flash.
