So...don't you reccomend HAMA adapter ?

I've one, but i have the same problems yet described

I have 2 pentax k1000

One named ASAHI PENTAX made in japan, the other only PENTAX assembled in China.

They are exactly the same !!! Same materials, top and bottom of metal!!!

Anyway, i read a lot of times that the firsts k1000 was made in japan, later assembled in Hong kong.

Both named ASAHI PENTAX , with the top and the bottom made of metal.

The last k1000 was assembled in China, they were named only PENTAX with the top and the bottom made of plastic.

But i told you, i have one k1000 assembled in china, made of metal.
