As a woman of a "what ever age", I usually will make older women look their best, however, I appreciate the realistic look of the unglamorized version. If you go for the glamour look, go all the way, include the neck etc. The image is strong enough without the make-over. Her expression is really nice.

Oh, just had to click on this. This almost has an HDR quality to it. That 2nd house is tilted.. Winnie, that iconic cheap mailbox and the plastic Mary give it away as an American Street. Am I right?

Awesome, thanks!  I probably agree with the color being a distraction of sorts, but I think she will be happy with it, being somewhat the "in thing" at the moment. BTW, on my monitor, the dress is not blown out....

Bright sunlight is very hard to make look good. You were in a pretty spot, but the image is suffering from "bright daylight" syndrome.... Remember the golden hour... I personally don't like any of my bright daylight images....

M never had her picture taken by a "real" photographer. (I am putting

myself in quotation marks here). Her posing was so natural and without

much coaching that I am wondering if she has something special... I

don't know much about shooting fashion. All I know is that it was really

fun to take her picture and that I love this picture.

    Thanks

I would love to get some feedback on this shot. Because of the

contrast, I had to really lift the shadows. This shot would have been a

good candidate for HDR, with maybe 2 combined shots... But, o well,

    that moment has long past.

    Thanks for your time.
