Thank you Darren! It's great to hear from you! I have been SO busy lately that photography has had to take a back seat, so to speak. Things are slowing down now and I hope I can get back in the groove!

Beautiful landscape! Just curious, what are the scale of those peaks? Are they fairly large?

Thanks Darren! I saw her jumping and just decided to hold the button down to see what I could get. I was thrilled when I looked at the final product! :)

First try at a complete 360. No alterations done. Just putting 9
photos together to form the panorama.

Hello, Michael. Again, thank you for your honest opinion of my photo. I have commented in response.
As far as this photo goes, I very much like the calm and serene atmosphere that the image expresses. I do, IMHO, feel that the trees on the sides are a bit distracting from the main focus, which is the waterfall.
I love the slow shutter speed you used to capture the falls, contrasted with the stillness of the water below.
Overall, a very nice image. :)

A father and daughter, having fun at MerleFest 2007. Please give any

Thank you so much for an honest critique! This is fantastic. I ,again, admit that the photo is not the 'end-all', but I find the crop to be enough. I, too, teach photography at my local college and IMHO, I don;t feel that every photo necessarily needs to 'tell' something. It just needs to appeal to someone. Obviously, not everyone likes the same visuals, but that is part of the critique process; to 'weed out' the bad and 'bring up' the best. Thank you for your honest opinion. It is appreciated.
