I am loking to get into the pentax system. i have read that the new super mount

dosn't work well with the old manual lenses. Something about the new mount is

missing something, so only stop down metering can be used. so what's the story?

I was reading a reviw that this lens is not as sharp as the older version. And

that it changes to get to 1:1 reproduction. Is this lens worth the price or is

there someting else. Let me know what you think? Thank you

I was wondering what Nikon needs no batery for the shutter to work. And what

one you would recomend. Or if ther is another brand, that would be goog to

know to.

I have been looking for a MF camera system. I know that Bronica is not in

business anyomre, but they seem to be the most reliable MF compay out there.

SO my question is what bronica to get? I have read that one of the modles will

shoot 645 and 6x6, what one is this, and is there one that will shoot 6x7.

So what camera is the best to get?

Everything was set the same. It is the PD prism, and both lenses were set to 2.8 55mm mamiya, and a 1.8 50mm nikon ste to 2.8. I also tried them at f4 with t6he same result.

I was in a white room with an over head light that was bright, it was incadesent. I think that i will try it agin out doors and see what happens.

Just out of curiosity, is the three times larger thinking corect, or not?

I was testing out the meeter on my 1000s aginst my 35mm. when my 33mm would

reat at 1/125, my 1000s was at 1/30, all the other settings are teh same.

I know that the megative is about 3 times larger, dost that make a differance,

or is it my meter?

I just got a 100s form ebay and their seems to be a problem with teh winder.

Sometimes it wil stop at one trip around, and others it will go two then stop.

I have checked all of the switches and they are all in their normal position.

It hpens more often than not. Is there anything I need to check, or adjust?

I rread that you have to set the shyutter speed on the finder as well as on the body to get the metter to read. I heard that their was a match needle finder, do you know what that one is?

I have a question about the digfferent types of prisms that can be had for the

mamiya 1000s, and what other modles they would be compatible with. what I am

most interested in is what do the different prisms do, and how they doo it. I

am gettin a PD and from what i have read so far it seems like a pain to use!
