This looks like a 2 photos composite. No metering system can meter this kind of exposure. If you exposure for the kid's face, the structure behind will be dark. If you meter the structure in the background, the kid's face will de dark.

The lighting is of 2 different sources from 2 different photos. The sun is setting on the left. The light should be cast on the left side of the kid's face. Even if it is will fill in flash, which I doubt because there is no traces of white light in the eyes. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

What was the intention of this photo? I think the portrait of the kid is good enough by himself to make a nice photo.

Thanks Casey for your comment. I actually framed the table in so that the curve will complement the curve lamp and chair. Furthermore, u see strong lines from the windows. All these shapes, interplay with the model. How about tone, should i add more contrast? Thanks.

Please critique and comment. I am trying a different tone here. I called it Moon Lit. As you can

see, it has very subtle dark blue in the photo. I hope you all like it. Thanks again.

Thanks for your comment. But the whole idea of this shot was that she should look beauty and ugly at the same time. Without the texture, to me lacks impact. This one is not a beauty shot. :)

I wanted a 80's feel to this photo just like the poster of Val Kilmer in THE DOORS. And this I

removed the frame and gave it a warmer tone. Please critique and comment. Thanks.
