Thanks for looking. C&C appreciated.

Bob, I also have a Rebel T2i. I took some shots with a 300mm zoom lens on a tripod and they did not come out as detailed as yours.
DO you think the difference is the focal length, 300mm vs 500mm?

Some how at first glance my wife and I both see a mother holding a child.

Thanks for looking. C&C appreciated.
I found this shot in a crevasse behind a frozen water fall. I think small little
ice people live here.

The image is a little cluttered at the bottom with the small rocks and puddle.
Putting the Falls in the left 3rd cause me eyes to travel right to the cave. I didn't even notice the cave in the other image. Hmmmm weird.

Well I guess composition 'rules' apply to some images. I posted another picture with a different composition. Actually, my eye travels all over the bottom two thirds of this image, yet goes right to the cave in the other image, which is a distraction.
Perhaps I have much to learn.
Thanks for the comment.

I don't know why someone would give this shot 3's. It is really good, however for me I like the color shot twice as much.

I highly recommend a visit to Hocking Hills, Ohio in the winter for an
amazing experience. Visit Old Mans Cave, Ash Cave & Cedar Falls.
C&C appreciated.

As a private pilot I have seen some awesome sights. This image captures what I have been chasing for a long time. Seems you've caught the trophy fish. Thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful idea. Great shot.

Excellent!

Definitely interesting. In an office I could see people studying it. It looks alive in a Star Wars kinda way.

Thanks all. Your comments help.

An artist captures an artist. Nice idea to include the woman's feet. It gives the shot a place.
-
Is it normal practice to cut off the feet in a picture like this? I 'm curious rather than critiquing.
Thanks for any input.

I'm pretty new, and not sure what HRD means. I like the composition, and clarity. This is a good picture. If the neighborhood feel is what you were after, you nailed it. After looking at your portfolio, I'm sure you know what your doing.

Should I lighten this image? Or perhaps some cropping? This image has not been manipulated.

I HATE cats. Cats are always on the WRONG side of the door. Dogs are family members. Cats have a STAFF. However, this is adorable. 7777777
