Good luck,

I was actually doing the video for this wedding and grabbed this.

Thanks for the nice comments. I can't believe that I got 4 ratings that were "3". It may not be the best pic on here but geeezzz, it should have some major flaw to get a 3 and I think its pretty well balanced, fairly interesting, sharp, and nice colors and light.

Thanks for looking, this was shot at a wedding reception the other day
and I really like it and wanted to see what others thought. Ken

I used to play on these things all the time, still do from time to time. Look it up, you never look at your front tire or front fender, you always look ahead. I remember seeing a picture like this in a motorcross magazine years ago and they were telling you this is not the way to do it. Said something like "this guy is getting a great view of his front tire, but what about lies down the track". You always need to look ahead kids. And when Maxxis Tires or Maier or Team Green used some of my images in their ads they didn't use any of the rider looking down....

Very bad form on the part of the rider. He is never suppose to be looking down at his front tire, always looking ahead for the next line. Cardinal rule of off road motorcycles.

just having fun in the desert

shot this in KY when the northern lights were really hot last year
about this time. Lens was a 35mm on a Mamiya 645 and a 45 minute
exposure.

The gentleman was just relaxing with his XX and an old piece of
cedar...

Thanks for sticking up for me guys. Everyone has their own idea of what is good of course, I just liked it because it told a story, and isn't that what a great photograph does?
-
These guys were great to hang out with, and a few years back were
the world champs from what I understand
-
very nice. Just the right balance of.......everything!
-
I love this. You really get a lot of mileage out of something so simple.
-
Grabs you hard, one of the best I have ever seen, as perfect as you can hope for.
-
Nice twist on things, photography should give a new way of looking at things and it did. Takes a minute to figure everything out, kind of distracting, but nice once you get your focus. Thats why I gave it a 5 for aesthetics (but a 7 for originality)

This was from one of my best photo treks ever. It was an ATV trip
(and yes they are allowed there) up an old 4 wheel drive road in the
snow to Hensley Settlement in Cumberland Gap NHP here in KY.
Conditions were perfect.

A small waterfall created when Cumberland Falls made its way up the
river millions of years ago. Very nice area, and this past fall was
one of the bes in that area.

There are other moonbows, but they are not regular or predictable. I understand that there was an earthquake that screwed up the one at Victoria Falls

Have to look at this one BIG

One of those pictures that just kinda looses all its ump when posted online. It was really interesting in PS before all the compression turned the details to mush.
