I recently posted some critical comment about new photo.net. And suddenly all my pictures disappeared from all groups tending etc. They don't exist like I never posted anything. My premium account is active until 2018. All pictures are marked public. It smells to me like punishment for being critical.

 

I tried to use contact window but no reply. I send a private message to GPalm, no reply.

 

I want to know what happened and why?

In the current photo.net setting if you are patiently refreshing a page you can ruck very high numbers for yourself or anybody else. That is not cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that rating is a good think, but my major problem was that it was used to create a mutual admiration society. I will rate you and you will rate me, preferentially high. If you don't like my pictures I will rate all your photos low. Most photo.net members are honest and wonderful people but few are not. I am not sure how a rating can be reintroduced and not create a problem that I described above

The new camera setting information is ridiculous and wrong. Can we go to the old version when all the readings we done correctly?

Thanks for the pictures. Minolta lens is virtually identical to Sony. I am also not sure about DMF switch.

I simply meant that the lens was not on the list of Sony lenses. I think that a good review could be posted under equipment review.

 

I do not know if your Minolta lens has several auto-focus modes. Sony allows you to select a 3m to infinity range and than it becomes really fast.

Sony SAL70200G good points:

6.29/7" Why it is not on Top Photos?

How to add this lens to the list of lenses under equipment? It is not there.

It is a superb G-Series zoom lens that covers a broad range of frequent

telephoto shooting situations and is definitely the best lens that I have ever used.

I use Sony HVL-F36AM. It works like a charm.
