Love thoroughbred racing images, both taking and looking at them. I used to do this at the track just outside Dallas, but the track changed owners and the new guys banned interchangeable-lens cameras.

Beautiful composition and I love the extreme wide angle. As "art" or modified photography piece this works really well. It's a little overdone processing-wise, for my taste as a photograph.

There seems to be too much of an attempt to "HDR" several of your black & white images, this being one of those. The "Dawning of a New Day" image from this same fold is much better done in terms of retaining the shadow/light play that makes so many black & white images compelling.

HDR and Black & White photography, to me, just makes no sense.

I find myself looking at the tattoos, trying to figure out what the heck she was thinking when she added them. More a distraction than anything. I would imagine she's a popular soul in certain publications though....

  1. I'm going to be a bit of an opposite here in that the sky plays a part in the image for me and clipping abounds. My eyes are drawn to all that blank white, both in the sky and the snow on the hills even looks clipped to me. A pretty scene, spoiled by the lack of proper exposure and processing to make the best of it.

With all those tatoos, I can see why, LOL.

Love the shot, pose, lighting, etc., the subject not so much, but hey, that's me. Just don't like 'em.

A lot of his images look quite enhanced to me and qualify more as digital art than photography. Beautiful to be sure, but digitally manipulated. Too many of the files have the same type "glow", similar rays of sun in them for me to think that's exactly how the subject truly looked. Just a little "too perfect", but however the images are arrived at, they are excellent.
