Oh my goodness! Just one...
Well my absolute fave is when the bride walks down the aisle. I ALWAYS cry.
Next, the prayer because it is just so beautiful watching both families come together as one and pray for this new joining.
Next, the bride getting ready because I really get a chance to help calm her down and make her day a little less stressful.
Next, when the father of the bride comes in to see her before she walks down the aisle.
Next, anytime they play a slideshow I nearly ball.
Next, The father daughter and mother son dance. I guess I am just a crying mess arent I?
Next, the dancing. I am talking about documenting them getting crunk here yall. I love love love a party!!!!
I guess I just love weddings altoghether : )

Well lets hope that they dont google your name and find this post as they may get a little offended.
As a formerly super morbidly obese person, I would want you to shoot me as you would anyone else. The basic principles should always apply that have been mentioned here, but if their weight does not bother them dont let it bother you!

Luckily 1.8.... I blew it out and put it back on and it did not seem to want to open up wide correctly. Do you think it could have done any harm to my camera by putting it back on there?
-
I tried to get most out but I think there is still some down in it. it got a
pretty good roll without either end cap attached! Any suggestions on where to
get it cleaned?

I would say learn Graphic Design. Usually when I see someone who has combined their knowledge in graphic design, photography, and has a creative eye.... the pictures usually speak for themselves.

Well there were so many that I lost count on the ones that I really liked and the ones that I did not, but you did have some really good ones and some that I would cut. You have enough good ones in my opinion to cut down the ones that are not as great. Shadows are hard to avoid when shooting that time of the day. Try to schedule these within a few hours after sunrise or right before sunset and the light is usually much nicer. I think some towards the end were much better because the sun was setting and the light was not as harsh. Overall, i think you did a good job!

Im surprised no one has asked if you asked her why she does not like them. Maybe she is afraid to tell you and told one person, who told another, and another (You know how office gossip is) Has her tone about them changed or anything? Maybe she is uncomfortable bringing it up. I am not saying that you should be a mind reader or anything. Either way, good luck : )

You have really nice work on there. I am not experienced enough to be a Mentor but stick around here, you will learn alot. Also, if I ever need a 2nd, i will keep definately keep you in mind.

Have you called her yet Robbie?
-
She gave me the ok to post her info on here for photographers in her price range to call her. As far as I know you would be the first. I shot in the church, fluro lights, just a warning for WB issues.
-
anne, you are wonderful. I read your other post on osp and thanks for posting that. I just doubled my prices and I was a bit hesitant on it, but you make a great point that if you do this part time, NOW is the time to raise your prices....great perspective.

I recd a call tonight about a wedding June 7th 2008 that will take place at a
church in Maryville TN. I am not available that day due to my daughters
recital, but if anyone is interested you may contact Devin, the bride, at 865-
936-1902. The budget is probably for people in the starting out or portfolio
building phase as the referral I recd her from was a $500 package.
Thanks

Check your junk folder, it may be in there.

Hi Suzanne. Your packages and pricing are about the same as mine. I am raising mine soon but I see where you are coming from.
I do sell the high res cd but my price sucks, so I am no help to you there. Since you said you make most of your money off of resales I would ask how much you typically make off of one wedding and then go from there. I am sure more seasoned photographers will probably chime in too. You can also do a search because this is asked a lot.
As far as the sick policy, it seems sort of nit picky ish that she would mention your kids as if they were one big walking germ. You are probably immune to more since you have kids. I have in my contract that if I happen to not be able to make it, I will refund all monies paid. Of course, I would call every photographer that I know to see if I could pay them to fill in and would do everything in my power to be there myself, but I do not know of many photographers that gaurantee they will find a replacement. That is too much of a liability in my opinion.

Call them like crazy and check your junk email folder. All of their mail goes to a junk folder usually.

I looked at your website and the pix on there look like ok formals. I must be looking at the one attached wrong or something. Can you resize? Also, I must say that I am new and take my feedback with a grain of salt : )
-
whoa, that pic is huge and very very dark. Did you attach the right one? Is a fair the same thing as a bridal show?

Okay, I talked to her again and she has a fairly new computer and uses Xp and she can usually use dvds. She said she uses Correl Photo or something like that and it usually puts everything in there and gives her the option to open to view files via windows, etc. She said she did not have the latter option and Correl took forever and now they are locked. I told her to put it in again and run her disk drive and hopefully it will work. Thanks yall. Does anyone else have this issue ever?
-
Thanks guys, this is the response she sent me "The whole process was just odd when I entered then into my computer. When my computer first read the dvd, it only gave me to option to upload the pictures with my program I was telling you abut. Normally that program pops up, but I also get the choice to open a new folder on my desktop. So I started up loading the pictures and it really did take forever. I don't know, it's all crazy" I cant remember what program she said she had. I burnt them the same way I normally do when I open up the file I clicked on burn at the top and just put the dvd in... Maybe it is an issue with the dvd vs cd thing.
