I was using Iphoto to save the originals there- thats why i was using that. I am guessing you keep yours on a
disk, or on a separate hard drive? (like i SHOULD be doing) i will check out that tutorial when i don't have kids
running all around me :)
-
also, where do you save your originals?
-
No, I didn't know that Scott! Im glad i posted :) where do i make the adjustments to do this?

Thanks Robert, i appreciate all your help. I am learning PS3 & loving it!

I got myself Photoshop & Lightroom and have been practicing like a mad woman! What a DIFFERENCE!!!!! im totally addicted to PP now.

OK, so this is my workflow... take the photos in RAW on my Canon 20D, unload my CF card, it automatically goes to
Iphoto on my Mac, then i bring everything to Lightroom & do my PP on there, then unload everything into "my
pictures" folder in the hard drive, then I bring the photos that I want to work more with into PS. I am pretty
new to PP & just looking for an easier way to do this. Thanks in advance!

thank you to those who looked at and critiqued my website from my last post.. i
have changed it up a little and took out some of the photos that i felt werent
too good, and have put up some more. do you see any others that i should take
out? i have been working on the site but havent told anyone about it really so
i could really use some help before i make it "public". what else should i be
looking out for to make my photos better? the site is www.cozyphoto.com i am
really trying to learn and would so much appreciate some honest constructive
critisism... also if you know of any really good books about the "rules" of
photography? because i was never taught them. would anyone like to be my
mentor? ;) thanks!

thank you all for your comments & constructive critiques.. i really appreciate it. i am going to weed through all the photos tomorrow & only use the best ones. i have another question... why on some sites you do not have to use www, but for mine you have to in order for it to work?

i recently switched from pc to mac... i am LOVING my mac btw! but anyway, i made
a little website to start off with, its cozyphoto.com. i played with my color on
photoshop and lightroom and thought i had made it more colorful and vibrant..
but i just looked at it w/ my pc and it looks very dark! which is the true
color? i am guessing mac, but is everyone with a pc seeing my website portfolio
very dark? also, i would love some feedback on my website to make it better.
thank you in advance to everyone who replies...

portfolio under engagment session, i would love some feedback! which is the
best, which should i delete, & please explain what i should be doing
differently on the ones you dislike. thank you for any critiques in advance! i
am really trying to learn :)

i would offer them to her for free! she may use them on ads and this could be a good starting point for you. if she asks you to take more, then you could start charging her ;)

i like it!

i just got it yesterday and i was playing with it ALL DAY today. when i went to
copy what i made onto my dvd-r the program told me "the show will not fit on
the currently inserted media" i had about 140 pics and 4 1/2 songs. i figure
the dvd should be able to hold at least that... am i doing something wrong?
thank you in advance for any help!

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/605713-REG/PocketWizard_801_140_MiniTT1_Radio_Slave_Transmitter.html
is this a good choice? (primarily for portraiture)
