Does anyone know what is and/or is not fully functional on the fl-36r flash unit when

used on an evolt 510? I want to buy an external wireless flash for my evolt 510, but

when I read it is only partially functional on the 510, I'm reconsidering. Is there a

wireless system that will give me full function other than the olympus flash..etc etc

I'm new to the whole adapter thing, so if I bought the Tamron lens for my Olympus evolt 510, which adapter do I need, and will my auto focus work, or will it be manual only, etc.

Will a tamron 70mm-300mm digital lens work on my evolt 510? If so are there any

Has anyone used the sigma 28mm-300mm macro telephoto lens on their evolt 500 or

510. If so, does it work well with the oly 4/3 technology? Also, are these

lenses available used?

I have a friend who has an evolt 510, in live view when you are doing a

playback of a photo and turn the camera to a different position ie, vertical or

horizontal, the picture being viewed also goes vertical or horizontal. I have

an e510 as well but it won't do that, why is that?

Thanks Randy, I see the blue sswf light blink when I turn the power on but the LCD screen doesn't show the Olympus logo and at start up,it used to come on at start up but doen't do that any more. Is this ok, or is there a problem with it not showing up.

I recently bought an evolt 510, I had an evolt 500 for a couple of years, then

upgraded to the 510..I have two questions...1. when I turn the camera on now

the display doesn't show that the sonic cleaning is taking place, could I have

accidently turned this function off, I couldn't find anything in the manual

about this. 2. When I work with the RAW files I shoot it tells me that my

sharpness setting is "SOFT" how do I change this to get a sharper image? 3.

Since I changed to the 510, my Photoshop cs2 will not open the RAW files, is

there a solution for this other than upgrading to cs3....One comments here too,

it seems to me that the olympus master software is sadly pathetic when working

with RAW files. Any way, I appreciate your help with these issues.

HI, I just bought and Evolt 510,and have the new olympus software. I tried to

download the firmware for the body and lens but kept getting the message that

my camera was not detected. I have tried everything I could to get to the

solution(including reading the directions and following them), but maybe I am

missing something. Anyone have ideas as to how I might solve this problem?
