Vlad : Another very successful photograph. It is imagery such as this who's symbolism touches the universal-archetypal realm of our Awareness that communicates so simply, so supportively, and so profoundly. Could I purchase a print of this image, as well ? John Loewenstein, Clarkdale, Az., USA...papabearsmiles@livinginclarkdale.com

Vlad : Ya Ta Hey ! This is one of the finest photographs that I've seen in years, let alone on this site. It is well-crafted, aesthetically harmonious, universal, mysterious : in short, it is a joy. Can I purchase a print ? John Loewenstein, Clarkdale, Az., 86331, USA : papabearsmiles@livinginclarkdale.com

Richard : I like your work A LOT !! Although quite tired this evening, I will come back to this site to SEE more, ... soon. I will throw out a few words in appreciation : a quiet, stately, subdued beauty...rather symphonic...it's a RESTFUL beauty... And you know, all photographs are, consciously or un-consciously, autobiographical...John Loewenstein, Clarkdale, Az. > papabearsmiles@livinginclarkdale.com

Jose : !! If this image has excellent resolution in a print of, say, around 8" x 12", I would love to purchase one from you. Bueno! Bueno ! John Loewenstein, Clarkdale, Az., USA > papabearsmiles@livinginclarkdale.com

THIS be the most well SEEN landscape that I've seen in a looooooooong time. Exquisite in nearly every respect : my only comment would be that I'd like to see the brighter area of the sky darkened a little so that it is a little less powerful on the viewer's eye. For that, and whatever grumbles you, or anyone else, might have about grain / noise, well,.....you COULD get it digitally scanned and then worked-on with Photoshop CS2 using a noise-reduction "plug-in" like Noise Ninja. Digital won't replace the beauty of the silver image. They're different "species." And, only YOU can make your prints sing. Ya Ta Hey !! John Loewenstein

Luiz : You might enjoy an image taken by the late Vilem Kriz in 1948 at a spot very near to where you stood. You can find his work at The S.K. Josefsberg Studio in Portland, Oregon. I have a book / catalogue that I purchased from there. Regards, John Loewenstein

Jan, Greetings : For me, much of your imagery recalls the work of Josef Sudek, Andre Kertesz, maybe a hint of Vilem Kriz, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, and others who have a Surreal sensitivity and who communicate...poetically...through symbols, metaphors, and archetypes. I feel that the work of those who have come before us (whether consciously or not) informs our vision...and we take it down our own path. Your photographic art is, in and of itself, very successful. Thank you so much...MOST of what passes for Fine Art photography today is lacking in the expression of an original vision; and so, when I come upon work such as yours, not only am I nourished and grateful, but I hear a chorus of great cheering within. Bravo !!!

Jan : Greetings ! I just had brief chance this morning to glance at some of your work, but will return for a thorough appreciative viewing later on. I just wanted to say "thank you." Finally, someone who has a fine sense of composition, craft, aesthetics, and expresses an original Vision. More later. John Loewenstein, Clarkdale, Az., USA

Greetings, Josephine Chervinska : Finally, someone who is expressing their original vision ! ( Although everyone sees the world differently, so few are, for their various reasons, unable to express it in form. ) SO : I applaud you, and thank you very much for sharing your creative self. Some images feel a bit overly "staged" ? Hmmm, I wonder if that's the word I want. Forced ? But, that's minor compared to the beauty of your original vision. You might well enjoy looking into the work of Wynne Bullock, Vilem Kriz, Josef Sudek, Jerry Uelsmann, and my teacher, Oliver Gagliani...I've been practicing this Fine Art for many years, in film until this past year. I recently invested in the Sony R1, so it's quite a pleasure to see such fine work produced with same. Ya Ta Hey ! John Loewenstein, Clarkdale, Az.

Niko : After perusing photo.net for several months, and seeing your exclusively "nude" pictures, it would lead one to assume that you think about sex most of the time. Perhaps you are frustrated ?
