I recently spent several hours "fixing" a faded, folded, scratched, 3 x 5, black & white snapshot of my parents on their wedding day in 1950. The only copy of the only photo taken that day. I gave it to my widowd mother to hang in her bedroom. My children will not have to do that for us because we went to the expense of hiring a wedding photograper. At the time,(1984) it was much cheaper than today, but I find it was worth it because I knew someone was capturing all the small moments and I didn't need to worry about it all day. I guess it comes down to what value you put on your life moments.
