Perhaps a director's finder might be useful for your situation?

On the tangent of "water stuff". I believe the phrase comes from Cantonese. The language uses a lot of rhyming slang and the phrase also sounds like "poor quality stuff".
Well, this post has nothing to do with Sekonics but I thought I'd just share that little piece of trivia..

20, shooting 4x5 large format for about 6 months now. Like Tony, I'm a
medical student (however nothing as hardcore as MD/PhD). I suppose
lugging a 4x5 monorail around the streets of Melbourne beats the old
stereotype of medical people having Hasselblads and not knowing what
to do with em...

Bob Atkins emailed Agfa not too long ago and they said that Ultra 50 has been discontinued and will be replaced by a 100 speed film which should appear on the market in a few month's time.
I don't know much about film production but I'd think that having a dedicated assembly line to produce a specialty film like Ultra 50 is expensive and probably not in Agfa's financial interests, if the market were just a few diehard enthusiasts (a lot of people seem to hate this film).

I've found Button Online to be a good source of mercury batteries. Ordered 5 for an old Rollei 35s I had, and they arrived with no problems.

YMMV however, as I'm not sure about what the rules are regarding importing mercury batteries into the US are (I live in Australia).
Ground glass in Australia?
in Large Format
Posted
I stupidly broke the ground glass on my Toyo 45C a little while ago.
I've called several glass dealers here in Melbourne, Australia
including ones that deal in specialty glass (stained glass for
hobbyists etc) and have been told that the minimum thickness glass
they carry is 3mm. I haven't accurately measured the thickness of the
broken glass but I'd estimate it to be about 1.5-2mm.
1. Does the extra thickness matter? The ground glass is held in place
by a metal clamp on this camera. I'm particularly worried about focus
shifts.
2. Does anyone have an Australian source for ground glasses? I'd buy
one from eBay but I'm a bit worried about shipping a thin piece of
glass from USA to Australia without it being smashed on arrival.
Vanbar here sells the replacement 45C screen for $50, but I was hoping
to find a cheaper source, because I can't really afford $50 if it
breaks again.
Cheers,
Justin
